Why 316Ti — not 304, not aluminum

Stainless 316Ti is the only material that handles wood-burning temperatures long term without corrosion. Cheaper 304 stainless works for gas but fails on wood-appliance flue gases in 5–10 years. Aluminum liners are for gas-only high-efficiency inserts.

Every wood-appliance liner we install is 316Ti. It's the material insurance carriers want to see and the only one with lifetime manufacturer warranty for wood use.

Insulation wrap is not optional

A liner without insulation wrap doesn't meet UL 1777 for many appliance-to-chimney configurations, and it drafts poorly in Ontario winters. We wrap every liner with 1/2-inch high-density ceramic insulation. It costs more; it's the right way.

Fixed-price install

Single-flue liner: $1,450–$2,400 (varies by height). Multi-flue: $2,400–$3,200. Includes liner, insulation, top plate, bottom connector and full install. Written fixed-price quote before we start. Same-week booking.

What Toronto homeowners say

"Booked a sweep and WETT inspection before winter. Crew arrived on time, laid down drop cloths, and walked me through the report photo by photo. Fixed pricing, no upsell — exactly what was quoted."

Sarah M.

"Cracked clay liner in our 1962 fireplace. They installed a stainless liner and new cap in one day and the draft is perfect. Warranty paperwork emailed the same evening."

David R.

"Called for a raccoon in the flue. They removed it humanely, sanitized the smoke chamber, and installed a stainless cap. Fair price, no drama, and they even followed up a week later."

Priya S.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a chimney liner cost in Toronto?+

$1,450–$3,200 depending on flue count and height. Fixed price in writing before we start.

How long does liner install take?+

4–8 hours on site for a single flue. Multi-flue can take a full day.

Do I actually need a new liner?+

Only if your existing liner is cracked all the way through, or you're installing a new appliance with different flue-size requirements. We won't sell you a liner you don't need.

What's the warranty?+

Lifetime from the manufacturer on the liner, 5-year workmanship from us on the install.

Is a liner install messy?+

Minimal mess. We drop-cloth the firebox area and run HEPA vacuum for the entire visit.

Do I need a permit?+

Usually no for a like-for-like liner replacement. Yes for a new install tied to a new appliance. We handle the paperwork either way.
